Executive Orders and Press Releases

Executive Orders

Executive Orders are formal directives issued by the CSG President to guide the operations of the Executive Branch. They are used to establish policies, procedures, or actions necessary for the effective administration of executive responsibilities.

An Executive Order to retain the Honorable Daphne Welter as Director of the Student Organization Committee in an acting capacity, until the appointment of her successor.

An Executive Order to retain the Honorable Aiden Burke as Student General Counsel in an acting capacity, until the Assembly votes on the question of whether to reconfirm him.

Press Releases

Press Releases are official statements issued by Central Student Government to communicate significant updates, initiatives, decisions, or positions to the campus community. They serve as a formal record of CSG’s public communications and institutional actions.

Through our work and advocacy, we seek to encourage student civic engagement, give voice to student concerns, and enhance student welfare and the Michigan experience for everyone.

CSG is motivated by the belief that there is no deeper expression of commitment to our school than to work to improve Michigan so that it realizes its greatest potential.
