Walter Aguilar

Walter Aguilar is a rising 3L at Michigan Law from Grand Rapids, Michigan, who served as Associate Chief Justice of the Central Student Judiciary (CSJ) from 2025-2026. In addition to CSJ, he is the Managing Online Editor for the Michigan Law Review, a Senior Judge in the Legal Practice Program, and a student attorney in the Federal Appellate Litigation Clinic. He is also a proud Double Wolverine with a B.A. from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. Walter is excited to be back on CSJ, having served as Associate Justice from 2019 to 2021.

The Central Student Government (CSG) of the University of Michigan, are comprised of students of different backgrounds who have come together to serve our fellow students and the entire University of Michigan community.

Through our work and advocacy, we seek to encourage student civic engagement, give voice to student concerns, and enhance student welfare and the Michigan experience for everyone.

CSG is motivated by the belief that there is no deeper expression of commitment to our school than to work to improve Michigan so that it realizes its greatest potential.
