Kayla Moehn

Kayla Moehn is a second-year graduate student pursuing her PhD in Neuroscience. Kayla was born and raised in the beautiful state of New Mexico and received bachelor’s degrees in Genetics & Biotechnology and Philosophy from New Mexico State University (NMSU). At NMSU, she served as a Justice of her student government’s Supreme Court and worked in a lab studying parakeet vocal learning! In her free time, Kayla enjoys watching movies, volunteering for the Trevor Project, and spending time with her cat, Dewey.

The Central Student Government (CSG) of the University of Michigan, are comprised of students of different backgrounds who have come together to serve our fellow students and the entire University of Michigan community.

Through our work and advocacy, we seek to encourage student civic engagement, give voice to student concerns, and enhance student welfare and the Michigan experience for everyone.

CSG is motivated by the belief that there is no deeper expression of commitment to our school than to work to improve Michigan so that it realizes its greatest potential.
